Baisakhi is being celebrated on 14 April 2014; It marks the completion of one of the harvesting seasons of crops and commencement of a solar new year and harvest cycle gloriously.
It is celebrated by Sikhs all across the World with tremendous enthusiasm and joyfulness. This important day also marks the founding of the Sikh community known as Khalsas. The translational definition of Khalsa seeks to refer to the amrit; the celestial pure nectar respectively. We are delighted to reach across to the Khalsa, Sikh and Punjabi communities all across the World and to felicitate them on this joyful occasion respectfully.
The Harmandir Sahib; the Darbar Sahib; the Golden Temple is located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab in India. The name Amritsar is derived from the name Amrit which refers to the the land of celestial pure nectar amazingly. The Sri Guru Granth Sahib which is the very most cherished, holiest, respected and sacred scriptures of the Sikh Faith is respectfully kept in the Harmandir Sahib covered in silken cloth known as rumala.
